We have invested in a 100% ecological pool cleaning system that completely avoids the need to use Chlorine, Acid and all other harmful chemicals normally used to keep a swimming pool clean.

The new technology system from Spain was installed in Villa Nurtan by CEM HAVUZ of Marmaris. It uses a low salt solution instead of Chlorine, eliminating the polution problems when Chlorinated water is pumped into the environment when back washing the pool filters.

It is 100% chemical free, a big contribution to sustainable tourism in rural areas of Turkey like Orhaniye.

In a move to reduce the carbon footprint of Villa Nurtan’s operations, the dedicated server that runs Villa Nurtan’s web site is now 100% carbon neutral. This has been achieved by purchasing certified Wind Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) for 130% of the electricity used to both power and cool the Villa Nurtan server. So in effect all the energy that is used by the Villa Nurtan web site is now powered from wind turbines.
